Training Activities for Food and Beverage Services under the HoKa Hospitality Program in Preah Sihanouk Province
The ongoing training sessions for Food and Beverage (F&B) Services, conducted in accordance with the Hospitality Kampuchea (HoKa) framework, are currently being provided to 25 tourism professionals in Preah Sihanouk Province.
During the initial four days, the 25 participants received comprehensive training focusing on the fundamental knowledge, technical skills, and professional ethics required for tourism specialists in the F&B sector. The curriculum covered five key modules:
1. Professional Roles and Responsibilities in F&B Services
2. Effective Communication in the Hospitality Industry
3. Delivering Premium Service Excellence
4. Restaurant Equipment and Facilities Management
5. Menu Knowledge and Product Information
To ensure the pedagogical quality and the competency of the trainees, officials from the Department of Tourism Vocational Training—led by Mr. Sang Chanthou and a dedicated three-member team—are monitoring and evaluating the HoKa training program. This broader initiative involves a total of 100 tourism professionals across four core disciplines: Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage Services, and Culinary Arts. The program is scheduled to take place from January 9th to January 17th, 2026, in Preah Sihanouk Province.
This training program is a collaborative effort between the HoKa Project Management Committee of the Ministry of Tourism and the Cambodia Association of Travel Agents (CATA), with financial support provided by the Skills Development Fund (SDF).
