Ministry of Tourism Partners with Wilmar CLV to Launch Bakery Course Programs for 2026!
PHNOM PENH: On the morning of December 19, 2025, Mr. Chuob Ratana, Director of Tourism Professional Training Department, led a delegation of technical officials to convene a consultative meeting with representatives from Wilmar CLV. The primary objective of this meeting was to accelerate cooperation in organizing free vocational training sessions in Bakery skills for 120 Cambodian youths, scheduled to commence in January 2026.
Under this initiative, trainees are required to complete 72 hours of comprehensive theoretical and practical instruction, covering the production of 20 distinct types of pastry. The training will be conducted at the Meisan Excellence Center in Phnom Penh.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Tourism, in collaboration with Wilmar CLV, has successfully implemented seven previous cohorts of this bakery training course, resulting in a total of 198 graduates to date.
