Ministry of Tourism Launches a National Master Trainer Training Program on Hotel Services in Alignment with ASEAN Standards in Siem Reap Province
SIEM REAP: On the morning of January 23, 2026, under the high authorization of His Excellency Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, Mr. Choub Ratana, Director of the Tourism Professional Training Department and Head of the Secretariat of the National Committee for Tourism Professionals (NCTP), presided over the commencement of the National Master Trainer Training Program on Hotel Services. This initiative is strictly aligned with the ASEAN Mutual Recognition Arrangement on Tourism Professionals (ASEAN MRA-TP).
Scheduled from January 23 to 29, 2026, the training aims to enhance the pedagogical and technical competencies of master trainers from both vocational training institutions and the private sector. The program focuses on the proficiency of standardized training materials and instructional methodologies mandated by ASEAN frameworks. This strategic capacity-building effort is designed to ensure the high-quality dissemination of expertise to students and trainees for the upcoming 2026 academic cycle, thereby bolstering the human capital of Cambodia’s tourism industry.
