Academic Translation: National Training-of-Trainers Program on Hotel Services within the ASEAN Framework
Siem Reap Province: The second day of the National Training-of-Trainers (ToT) program regarding Hotel Services was convened in alignment with the ASEAN Mutual Recognition Arrangement on Tourism Professionals (MRA-TP). During the session, participants engaged in rigorous pedagogical inquiry and collaborative discourse focused on the following thematic areas:
• Dimensions of Competency: Analyzing the multifaceted skill sets required for tourism professionals.
• Roles and Responsibilities: Defining the professional mandates of National Trainers and National Assessors.
• Common ASEAN Tourism Curriculum (CATC): Reviewing standardized educational frameworks for regional integration.
• Qualifications Frameworks: Evaluating National and ASEAN Qualification Frameworks, including the strategic application of Packaging Rules and Competency Clustering.
